    i have to admit i have not been watching very many yankees games at all this season. how has boone been doing this season? it is amazing to me the amount of W's for your team with so many star players injured. is boone pulling a 2018 Cora with magical gold dust moves? or are they winning in spite of his usual doofus moves?

    the catcher makes a defensive play on every pitch that isnt hit and on some that are hit. Catcher is EASILY the most important defensive position. how is this even a real question???

    this will end up being my favorite thread. can we DFA them both? bring back swi and mookie is as good a CFer as JBj and JDM is as good as a RFer as Mook. that opens up the DH spot for Pearce. get the duckboats ready! the OP was whining for weeks about "when has JBj ever done anything to save a game defensively". then he makes the biggest catch we will see all year to literally snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. oh, but beni, mook, shoot even JDM would have made that catch! nothing to see here!

    last years edition of the JBj thread ended up with 2,414 posts. We are 40% there with only 29% of the season completed. we may set a new record! on pace to obliterate it....

    a catcher cannot catch every game so vaz will get a blow whenever sale is pitching and leon isnt having babies.
