  1. Blue Jays' Giles would return Astros WS ring if asked: 'It just hurts' "It just hurts," the 29-year-old told Rosie DiManno of the Toronto Star on Friday. "If they want it back, I'll be true to whatever needs to be done. "Whatever they ask, I would oblige," he continued. "Because what was going on at the time was not OK." "I was not aware about anything," Giles said. "It crushed me to learn about the stuff that went on when I was there. I had no idea. I had no clue whatsoever. I was blindsided by the commissioner's report. Up until then, I honestly didn't believe it. Just crazy."
  2. not sure how this rule change helps prevent the Beltran Method??? MLB has proposed that access to the dugout and clubhouse during games will be limited to players, seven coaches and necessary interpreters and trainers. Front office members would be banned from clubhouses during games.
  3. brock is a dirt dog tho, so doesnt belong on this list of bad hombres.
  4. oh boy. showing your true colors again.
  5. wait...so is that dead or not dead?
  6. competitive baseball? smoking weed would adversely affect your performance and pose danger. (slower reaction time). backyard baseball or slow pitch softball league? smoking weed would increase the fun. playing video games high is completely encouraged.
  7. i bet he doesnt opt out. but if he does, i can see why Bloom is staying well below the $208 "just in case"....
  8. dang. too soon man. too soon.
  9. yup. his past week, Cincinnati starter Trevor Bauer renewed his previous allegations that Houston was one of the teams leading the way with an undetectable substance that helped pitchers maximize their spin rates. In an article for The Players’ Tribune, Bauer wrote, “When I see a guy go from being a good pitcher for one team and spinning the ball at 2,200 rpm, to spinning the ball at 2,600 or 2,700 in Houston, I know exactly what happened.”
  10. Chris Davis chiming in: “I think the discipline that the players are going to get this year is going to be very interesting, and I say that meaning that a lot of that is going to be handed out between the lines,'' Davis said. “Obviously, what went on was awful for the game, for the fans, just for everybody involved.”
  11. the real question is.....who jumped up and down with him in the dugout after he rounded the bases????
  12. i disagree with this only in the fact that i dont believe MLB is even trying to market Trout. try this out for yourself: ask any 10-14 year old "who the best player in MLB is". i bet most of them will say Trout. then ask them: "have you ever seen video of him playing". i bet most havent. MLB does not make it easy for kids to see vid clips. Trout may very well be the best baseball player the human race has ever had. they should be marketing the hell out of him.
  13. MLB should be marketing the hell out of trout, betts, judge, acuna, etc. MLB should have a free youtube channel that they release video clips to all the time. MLB should promote a free version of an app that gives good content....vid clips in real time. kids dont really watch tv anymore and they certainly dont want to pay to watch vid clips. they watch youtube, snapchat, IG, and tiktok.....
  14. i'm glad we never re-signed Beltre. not our type of player. he probably believes COVID 19 is real and that the earth is round......
  15. fair point. Giancarlo needs to get with TB12 and work on his pliability....
  16. Lord of the Flies
  17. HGH is what significantly changed the shape of Bonds. HGH is really impactful after age 30 when your body naturally makes less of it. but again...do you think my div 2 college was ahead of the steroid curve vs MLB?
  18. that wasnt solely directed at you. something tells me that the baseball changed significantly after the strike. also, companies like Balco were coming out with better product. remember weed in the 80's? now try smoking some of that Hydro stuff developed today with 30% Thc content. science.
  19. but will they be able to do it this season without the Beltran Method?
  20. all things being equal...we had a parade with JDM. we did not have a parade with AGon.
  21. who says bonds and clemens ever played clean? bonds entered the league in 1986. for context teammates on my division 2 college team in NH were using steroids in the mid 80's. are you telling me that MLB players were behind the times of my division 2 country bumpkin teammates??? very doubtful. in fact...impossible. steroids didnt magically appear in MLB in the mid 90's. they were being used for at least...at least...a decade prior. newsflash.......MLB PLAYERS WERE USING STEROIDS IN THE 1980'S that said...steroids/hgh or not.....barry bonds should be in the hall of fame for the simple fact that he was intentionally walked with the bases loaded.....
  22. going up in April to see Tito come back to town. hoping to stubhub tix the day of the game for $20.
  23. here man...educate yourself and your loved ones: https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6
  24. I have 2 warehouses in China that i work with. the rumor out of there is that 2,000 bodies a day are being cremated so that 2.3% might be misleading. might be a higher percent. but even at 2% and this virus spreads across USA i am not sending Manny to school at a 2 in 100 chance of death.... i guess that makes me liberal snowflake pc treehugger... ‾\_(ツ)_/‾
  25. i'm just happy at the thought that my one trip up to Fenway to see the Sox play this year won't cost me a mortgage payment for the tix.....
