There's got to be a reason why Porcello's 2020 salary was just $10M and he was still so bad that nobody wants to sign him as a free agent. Never did like him, myself. Good mix of pitches, but all hittable in part because he just never learned how to keep the ball low. To me his signature, this-is-who-I-really-am season was 2017. In 2016 he got the Cy Young Award, and in 2017 he had the same number of starts, 33, but his ERA jumped up from 3.43 to 5.53, for which he was paid $20M.
