Right now I'd have to say this score, 3-1 in the eighth, is entirely on the lineup. The pitching has been good enough. The hitting stinks.

I realize those runs belong to Buehler, but I also think Wilson was absolutely rotten, which is why he's off to the showers. moonslav swears the bullpen is just fine and provided some good stats. But my stats are more recent than his. This bs is unending. Weissert hit the plate for a WP and a 3d Orioles run. But he did get 2 outs.

Lead off double in the 5th. Waterloo? Leadoff double and a BB and a quick departure from the game. I agree with Cora, but wonder if the bullpen is ready to get anyone out.

Not quite. Close, but he did catch that double neatly to keep Baltimore from scoring.

Buehler absolutely stinks tonight, but he's gone 3 scoreless innings. It's the kind of thing his Uncle Ferris would have gotten away with. We finally got a catcher who hit the dang ball. What a great move by the Orioles 2d baseman! After his error he almost got Wong out by pushing the ball with his glove.
