Sorry to disagree, but Casas delivered the 2 run dinger to save the day and the game--until Winck butchered it with the acquiescence of Cora. Three freaking dingers in two innings. That was a single, not an error by Casas. I'm no big fan of his, but you are over-reaching when you expect him to be a gold glover as well as the deliverer of key dingers.
Apparently, the knee issue with Paxton has been going on for some time, so a shout out to whoever mentioned that possibility. Nevertheless, Paxton is just one more example of player fragility on this year's Sox team. Sale is another. So is Chang. So is McGuire.
So, really, is Duvall, who at age 34 has played full seasons (140 or more games) just 3 times in 10 seasons. Despite--or because of--his size, the man is fragile. Also, his career OPS is .760, so my less than humble opinion is that Duran or Refsnyder should play ahead of Duvall.
