    Yea..... 5 or 6 innings 2 or 3 runs....... we could stretch it and say ok...... There was a total stinker in there too with Toronto. This seems like the first really good outing....

    It's pretty funny all the other teams have these tall muscle bound freaks as relievers and closers that come at you with gas............ And we have these two wild Japanese guys jumping around the mound flailing their arms and throwing junk......

    Box score actually looks like a good outing......... 7 innings, 1 ER. His last outing was something like 5 innings and 2 runs......... but that was a struggle..... The last two with Hanigan hasn't been terrible.........

    Porcello needs to gets his stuff sorted out. If he doesn't show he can pitch this second half, him and his contract will be a huge question mark in the offseason and damper any rebuilding/re-tooling that needs to be done.

    With our luck this year, Nap will go on a tear the next couple weeks, get sold for a low low level prospect. Nap stays on a tear the second half and his team makes the playoffs.....

    That is both bizarre and incredible at the same time. I'd love to do a season where I just listen to the radio.

    You seriously have to look at Hanley and Sandoval at being a bad fit. Hanley in left is a very bad fit. Now that we have them, maybe the best thing to do is hold on to them and upgrade other positions, but it's hard to argue they haven't been a bad fit so far. And personally their game play and just over all play makes me think they may be a bad fit going forward.

    Same here pretty much. I thought we would be fighting for first. I was telling everyone that we would hit like crazy, but the pitching was suspect. I thought Porcello and Miley would be the two most reliable, and was hoping two of the other three would be serviceable. Man was I wrong....

    It's equally important to recognize a bad fit on the team and take your losses as soon as possible so as to not drag out something that will never work.
