    I was thinking along the same lines actually. But first I'd implement plan "k knuckle ball". This would mean that anyone pitching in AAA ball or lower should stop what they are doing and start learning to throw a knuckle ball........ to prepare for the future....

    He needs to be what we thought we were getting soon....... if it's next season before we see it........... he didn't step up in a season we need him too....... Mr Price needs to perform well the next game and then multiple games in succession....... or he will continue to be a big disappointment this year.....

    Been mentioning this......... I'm trying to think of a pitcher that came in and did well the first year...... it's been a while. Hell.. Gange Beckett, Porcello, Price.... Lester..... Lackey........ I'm not sure if it's a Boston thing........ but adjustment to coming here by many recently hasn't been great the first year...... and......... I was good with letting Lester walk........... but then started to think that we need to pay more to people who have shown that they can perform here...... Pretty much....... any person who comes in and does well........... I think we should pay more to keep them.............. like Lester and Beltre as examples...... I also think any NL pitcher coming over to Boston has a huge awakening coming....

    It's not an easy job.......... Ben brought in some cartoon characters recently....... DD brought in some bad ass flame throwing Dragon slaying dudes.......... who all got hurt.... Where's magic eight ball when you need it??

    Trades too.......... DD had to do something.......... but damn................swing and miss.. obviously injuries have been the main issue.....

    You know....... every DD sign has kind of sucked this year.... now that I think about it. Name one that has been stellar........ counting injuries... I'd almost say Young was the best pickup so far..... Maybe Price after that........

    I hope it's a 2 out of 3 game. That way, either of them scumbags can't cheer that much...... But, I think I get an extra chuckle when the Yanks lose..... the Yankees losing never gets old......... and they don't like to be buried.......

    The Yanks may be down...... but sweeping them is another story. They still win 50 percent of their games. We also may secretly butt fudged them another game thinking they are in this thing until to Balt comes in and takes another 2 our of 3. Or isn't that a 4 game series. Price has struggled this year no doubt, but he's good enough even when bad to hang in there lately. I really think coming to Boston and stepping on the mound messes with pitchers heads for a while. Maybe a year..... look at Porcello....... Tanaka is no joke........ he can shut down any team when he is on......... Keep calm and keep winning series on........ Meat Loaf

    After the initial phase of losing a guy I really wanted to see come up and throw smoke...... I'm good with this trade. The one thing I'm really worried about in this playoff or bust style atmosphere, it that many new pitching acquisitions struggle the first year in Boston. I'm trying to think back over the last decade what pitcher came in and did well at the start...... and that's not to say year 2 didn't go much much better for some.....

    If he comes out strong at the gates this half we are going to be a tough team..... I think that injury messed him up..... I was counting on him this year.....
