  1. Please don't do anything stupid Hanley
  2. Wright is a stud..
  3. Yea. I really dig how invested he is during the game on how well the pitcher does. He really makes it a duo effort.
  4. There we go. Let's get one more....
  5. Amazing. We are lucky to be around during Big Papi's time.
  6. The losing record against Tor and Bal isn't making me happy. Those series have been a game of inches, but......... I'd like to stick a wooden stake into either of those teams hearts.....
  7. I'm with you..... you'd have to go with Wright right now. I think I needed confirmation that I wasn't crazy....
  8. If you had to make the call.... which one?
  9. My bad..... read his debut as his age. Still, he looks not even 30ish. probably 40ish.
  10. As absolutely crazy as this sounds, would anyone not choose Wright to be our first starter if we were going into the playoffs? (I know things may change, I'm talking right now)
  11. thx. Damn, Wright is 28. He looks like late 30's.
  12. Was just checking in on Steven Wrights contract. What does this mean? Is he only signed for this year? 2016 Contract Status: Signed thru 2016, 1 yr/$515k (16) (details) [*] Service Time (01/2016): 1.089, Arb Eligible: 2018, Free Agent: 2021 [*],
  13. Jim Rice, Mike Torrez, Luis Tiant, and a few others I could remember. Most were at autograph signings in Maine at the Scarborough Down Horse track. Jim I remember well. It was after a day game that went extra innings and they lost. So the signing was delayed and we had to wait a long time. I'm pretty sure he was pissed off after the game and having to do the signing. I was young, maybe 8 or so. I asked him how to throw a curve ball, he said "you're too young kid".
  14. I love SF, but picture Hobos screaming every night, that was my picture from 1am to 4pm living in downtown SF.
  15. Trust me. If you lived in SF you'd appreciate the Oakland team and despise the SF team. Unless you like pink cotton candy and drinking with your pinky finger sticking out.
  16. He looked good at the signing time. And with multiple Cubans doing well the thought that the caliber there was super high. Wasn't he the guy in the video during the World Baseball classic raking against newly super phenom pitchers already in the league. It sucks now....... but it was worth the stab....
  17. Those two are only a sport if you have a 6 pack in you when you start and at least finish a 12 pack. Same with darts......
  18. I almost seems like every game where we have a pitcher shoot an ace performance we lose. I'm thinking some Wright games mostly.
  19. This was exactly what my brain was tryin to figure out......... thank you..........
  20. I'm with you on this. Shaw has only a couple hits in like the last 20 AB. Young was on point tonight.........
  21. This is interesting. I'd need to see what Young is hitting vs Righties recently, I don't know. This might have been the right call.....
  22. Two balls that were strikes...... damn
