    More like a Cadillac with a slipping transmission. Not a great investment, but probably fixable. I think the big mistake was signing both Hanley AND Pablo. They should have signed one or the other and filled either 3B or LF with a lower cost option. The Sox got a little too greedy.

    You do realize you're ripping the basic strategy of a team that made it to the World Series, right? Almost every team has flaws somewhere, whether it be defense, offense, pitching, or some combination of them. The fact that they made it to the WS tells me they have some idea of what they're doing. They had flaws and made the best use of what they had, a handful of anecdotal plays aside.

    If they're going to vote in "known" steroid users, they'll need to take a close look at their careers. You could argue that Bonds was a great player before he decided to cheat. McGwire, not so much. Personally, I'm ok with not letting blatant users in.

This place would a f***ing morgue without them. You'd have A700 constantly posting "(fill in the blank) sucks" to no one in particular and the suck ups posting "You're absolutely right!" MVP, if you're tired of the Cherrington talk, quit bitching and start a new conversation.
