  1. Who's the poor shmuck pitching for Houston tonight?
  2. Clemens is no Larry Bird.
  3. Yup, for what it would cost to get a player like Trout, I'm perfectly happy with our current OF.
  4. Yeah, that's true. Francesa can be a condecending prick too. Francesa got caught making s*** up about how often Bonds was intentionally walked with bases loaded in his career. He just couldn't force himself to admit he was wrong. LOL
  5. His analysis of Price's delivery was excellent. But he was babbling at the very end of his time in the booth, so I can still hate him.
  6. I thought we desperately needed pitching?
  7. Nope, not at all!
  8. Maybe. But, potential has to progress to results sooner, rather than later. There's no big rush, at the moment, but an injury or two could change that.
  9. Yup, I don't think anyone is questioning his work ethic. But, it has looked like a couple of plays were an example of "I got this" and he takes his eye off the ball. Happens to the best of them. I doubt it even takes a talk from the coaching staff. Just getting a bit embarassed is probably enough.
  10. Keuchel is probably praying for a little regression from the Sox offense about now.
  11. I almost added that he must have tired. But, how does someone that big get tired after 5 innings?
  12. For which we are all eternally grateful.
  13. Yup, the A's finally got to him, but he did a good job last night.
  14. Damned decent of Headley to try to take the heat off of his buddy, Pablo.
  15. Considering their start, not a bad mix. With their offense, they do need to start dominating at home.
  16. For startes, O'Sullivan throws strikes.
  17. Yup, the idea that closers tend to get more amped up (and more effective) with a game on the line isn't a new one.
  18. ESPN finally figured out that Ray lewis and Chris Carter suck. http://thesource.com/2016/05/09/espn-will-reportedly-hire-randy-moss-and-remove-ray-lewis-cris-carter/
  19. Good point. There are a lot of athletes that would've ignored the two, after having a night like Ortiz had. Ortiz wears his emotions on his sleeve. Some fans don't like it, but the same emotions that cause him to bitch about his contract or whine about a score keepers call, make him the competitor that he's always been.
  20. He did pitch his last game with more conviction. I'd like to see him do it again before I'm convinced he's going another one of his runs. I don't belive for a minute that all of his problems are over. If he goes 12-0 again, he'll be on the DL by August.
  21. I'll post what I want, when I want to. Thanks anyway.
  22. Nope, just letting you know there's a low tolerance for stupidity here. Whether you're smart enough to figure it out or do what you usually do is up to you.
  23. You'll have a lot more free time soon.
