All of us would undoubtedly suck worse than Rafaela has in terms of plate discipline. But he’s a professional baseball player. He’s expected to do his job well just like the rest of us are expected to do OUR jobs well. He did a good job for a long time but just like last year he’s tailing off, as I predicted.

Rafaela strikes out on a ball a foot and a half outside. He’s swinging at over 60% of waste pitches-league average is 6%. Definitely regressing

No one thought he’d have a career year, including BresLOW-that’s why he signed Suarez-not that that’s surprising since BresLOW isn’t very good at his job. Story will probably end up at 2B with Sogard on the Worcester shuttle
