Any more votes for Padilla coming back out for the ninth? It will probably be Aceves, but I would bring out Padilla until one guy reaches.

Why bring him in? Padilla had it really going out there-and he is already stretched out to be a SP. No need to fix it if it ain't broken.

I would bring in a pitcher whose sole purpose is to nail one of the Tigers. Maybe with two out, if we get that far. You do not throw behind someone's head trying to hit him.

Two strikes. Had to get the bat off his shoulder. The pitch wasn't far off the plate. I hate to see guys taking call third strikes in situations like that. Drew did it all the time.

I think it makes his fastball more effective if he can get that eephus pitch over for strikes. Especially vs power hitters like Fielder and Miggy.

Not sure you can do that with runners on base. Great job by Padilla..at least the part I saw. Some luck as a couple of foul balls down the line went our way. I say bring him back out next inning again. Our pen is just plain scary. Who do we bring out after Padilla? Who do you trust out there? We will need more than 9 to win this game.

Why isn't Padilla starting instead of Bard? That makes more sense to me.
