  1. Bruins lose Uggh.
  2. Game 7. Nuff said.
  3. Not a bad try with two out. He thought the throw might go through. One out, no, but no problem trying to get into scoring position with two outs
  4. Bruins tied 1-1 going into the third period. Very tight game.
  5. Thats OK...Salty comes thru. Got no problems trying to take the extra base there
  6. Not sure if this appeared on a different thread. Big loss for the Yankees: By Wallace Matthews | ESPNNewYork.com ARLINGTON, Texas -- New York Yankees pitcher Michael Pineda will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair a labrum tear in his right shoulder and is lost for the season. The surgery is an arthroscopic procedure and will be performed at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan by New York Mets team physician Dr. David Altchek at the request of Pineda and his agent, Fern Cuza. According to Yankees team doctor Chris Ahmad, who will assist in the surgery, the recovery for such an injury is 12 months from the date of the surgery barring any setbacks in rehab, meaning Pineda will not be available until May 2013 at the earliest.
  7. No I don't think Crawford is the "rat". If he's hurt, he's hurt; thats not his fault. You misunderstood me. If there is a "rat" to be smelled, its the surreptitious manner in which the Sox are handling this. Minor injuries get better and don't need a second opinion, generally. I would not expect the Sox to announce the Crawford has a significant injury until its confirmed by a specialist. I do not trust this medical staff one bit, not anymore. Count me as hoping that there really is nothing seriously wrong with Crawford.
  8. I don't like the way this is progressing. Usually you don't need to seek a second opinion if your "minor injury" is improving. Not that the Red Sox have any obligation to tell us the full story, but I smell a rat. It would not surprise me to see Crawford need elbow surgery and MAYBE make it back by August.
  9. Excellent game. They should all be like this. Night all.
  10. Less so than some of the others. ERA: 4.15
  11. Nice to see everybody hustling out there. That wasn't always the case last year.
  12. Dammit. You're right.
  13. The bullpen failed to soil itself in this game. Good job of managing by Valentine by getting them right back out there.
  14. Time to walk the dog...make sure the pen doesn't do its thing on this game.
  15. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. There is no safe lead for our bullpen.
  16. Please don't embarass me that way. Seriously, there are definitely some positives about this team so far: the offense, Doubront has been a nice surprise, and....I'll get back to you.
  17. Is he back at the table trying to eat Colon again?
  18. Where's Jenks when you need him?
  19. The offense was never a problem. Coming into tonite we were fourth in the AL in runs scored and third in OPS.
  20. Baloney is cheesy tonite.
  21. Pedroia is due for a base hit here. Overdue.
  22. Aviles couldn't have placed the ball there any better than that.
