Just tuned in to see Suarez gag up the lead. He’s officially a bust
-
I had a talk with him…..
-
Rutchman fits right into this team: “K Adley Rutschman (Oregon State baseball commit): Rutschman was injured in the first quarter and was on crutches for the rest of the game.”
-
Pay wall
-
I’m calling it
-
Well that’s true too. Story isn’t going to add much if anything. But he’s going to play somewhere. I just don’t want him bumping a guy who has been at the very least decent at his position.
-
Agreed
-
I heard Chapman laughed so hard he strained an oblique and needed time on the IL
-
Whatever it takes.. …. They’re talking about moving Mona to 2B so Story can play SS. No reason for that to happen
-
He struck out Aaron Judge with it
-
White>>Duran
-
AR career OPS+: 114 CN career OPS+: 81
-
He’s better than what we had but he’s no savior
-
Part of the problem, as I said, is that Henry is too cheap to provide the funds to sign enough quality players to form a team that can compete for a ring. But the bottom line is this: BresLOW failed to construct a team that competes for a ring most years. If the Rays (and other teams with a lower budget but a better GM) can do it in a budget that is far less I expect our GM to do it too.
-
Henry certainly bears a part of the failure to constitute a competitive team (for a ring), but the bottom line is that BresLOW failed to come through completely. He did a half assed job.
-
He did some good stuff but didn’t finish the job. We both were calling for at least one more good bat. I’d give him a D for his effort this past winter. We could have been much better.
-
2+>2
-
Oh-clearly he’s pitching like a #2+ now. I viewed him as less than that at the time. Apparently BresLOW did too, which is why he signed Suarez
-
Rutschman isn’t going to be a great offensive player. I think he’s only about a career.250 hitter. He’s just better than what we have.
-
I have To “ better than expected”.
-
Occasionally-rarely-I get it wrong. Hit the nail on the head today though. It was ovah at 2-0. But hey! No worries! Story is coming back soon and Crochet….will be starting games again next year. So, the Flops mantra should be repeated over and over again: “just wait till next year “.
-
All of us would undoubtedly suck worse than Rafaela has in terms of plate discipline. But he’s a professional baseball player. He’s expected to do his job well just like the rest of us are expected to do OUR jobs well. He did a good job for a long time but just like last year he’s tailing off, as I predicted.
-
Ok Enjoy this blowout loss I have better things to do than watch the FLOPSBUMS
-
Abreu is infected with Rafaela disease
-
I called this at 2-0. Got this one spot on
