  1. More sloppy baseball, this time by Doubront not watching the baserunner. Every single game...sloppy sloppy sloppy
  2. We do not have the talent to be in that situation.
  3. Did not know that Aviles is sick. And Kalish is better than Lillibridge.
  4. WTF is this lineup? Punto and Lillibridge in the same lineup with Shoppach? This is the most pathetic lineup we can produce without more trades.
  5. That is the essence of our pitching problems. And I don't see a realistic solution until the offseason.
  6. Yankees win again. We lose this game and its 8 behind in the lost column...again. The season will once again be on the precipice.
  7. Right now he's not good enough. And worse, we have no real ace. That is the real problem.
  8. Its hard to comprehend why people don't see this 700. We are getting no significant pitching help back from the DL. If our pitching doesn't improve we have no chance.
  9. Doubs is a mediocre SP at best. He has proven nothing. Good chance he will fall by the wayside soon.
  10. They also could not afford to lose last night's game BTW.
  11. Already behind-again. We cannot afford to lose this game.
  12. I think that Kalish should be optioned back to AAA. He needs the reps, and he is not likely to get them with the ML club. So I would rather see Sweeney kept for now. Lillibridge and Punto are in the same category: both suck and do not belong on our roster.
  13. And Tazawa has already contributed at a ML level. There is just no room for him right now.
  14. IF Bard makes it back, it likely won't be this year. He is so screwed up by the changes in his delivery and the mental softness he has to have much hope of helping the club this year. It will take him all offseason to figure it out, if he ever figures it out again. Even odds he is washed up permanently in terms of reaching where he once was.
  15. Nope. Being a DH really dooms his chances.
  16. http://i673.photobucket.com/albums/vv94/mechetesaint/swami.jpg FORSYTHE
  17. Turns out five is JUST enough....... What a game by Cook. I did not see that coming at all. BTW: anyone following the Giants? They had four consecutive shutouts by their SP. Pretty amazing.
  18. Are there ANY DHs in the HOF?
  19. WOW...spectacular DP. Game over.
  20. Cook gets out of this inning with no runs surrendered and this game is OVAH.
  21. Everybody owns him. He is back under .270 and OPS at .731. What a deal for $20M, eh? Woulda saved money and extended JD Drew for that money.
