    He was a flash in the pan because he pitched above his head for weeks. I agree: he is a 3 or a 4.

    His act is getting old. I use to think he would come around. Now I am not so sure.

    Pivetta was a flash in the pan. It was nice but the party is over for him. We should have lost yesterday too. The players were saying before they started the stretch against the Rays and Yankees that it would be a good indicator of where they are. I guess we know now where they are. This is a fourth place team-if we can finish above the Orioles.

    Our CF can’t field and he is overmatched at the plate. He isn’t ready for the ML yet. Not sure he will ever be.

    Ummm…I don’t remember. I was like 8 years old. I just remember the 11-0 score. Nowadays I would just turn around and go home

    The team is obviously slumping now. But we are still in the WC race-and as Atlanta proved last year all you have to do is get in. I think this team will hit, eventually. We definitely need to upgrade in the OF (ie get rid of Bradley) and at 1B. But if our SP can come back and pitch the way they are capable of pitching we could still be ok in October.

    I remember going there once as a kid with my dad to see the Red Sox play the Yankees. We were running very late, about 90 minutes late and I figured we would get to the park with the game already half over. But when we got there we only missed a half inning because the Yankees were already ahead 11-0.

    Someone better get up in the pen Crawford pitched well but there’s no way these AAA SPs can compete against a ML lineup

    The team will get better when they get healthy. The question is whether or not they can start beating the Rays and Yankees. We have a LOT of games left against those two teams. If we continue to lose to them we will not make the playoffs.
