    Not really. The team sucks. If a team is comprised of a bunch of bums and they play like bums then it’s not humiliating at all. It’s expected.

    Lol Another game, another loss. It’s in our best interests to lose every remaining game on our schedule. I want what’s best for the team, and a nice long losing streak fits the bill. Only then will it be clear that nearly everyone on the payroll must go.

    Current salary is around $230m I believe. So Bloom has to find a salary dump of about $22m. Not gonna field a competitive team that way.

    Proof that Henry has ordered Bloom to get the payroll down. No one lied. It was a business decision by a guy worth $3,5 billion dollars.

    Here’s proof: “ In an email exchange with Boston Globe columnist Dan Shaughnessy, Red Sox owner John Henry downplays mandate to trim payroll to below $208 million. It's the middle of January, and spring training caravans are about to start their engines.”

    Bloom was told by Henry to get the finances down. He has experience doing that in Tampa. Until Henry loosens his purse this team is going to suck.

    Devers is the better player. We aren’t keeping both of them. We will be lucky to keep one of them. I’d rather keep Devers.
