Absolutely! If a ball is his within his range it’s almost always an out. Same with Mayer. Our D is much better this year, at least by the eye test. -
Ten more days until the trade deadline. I would assess our needs are: 1. Decide if we are going to be sellers or buys but not be in between like last year 2. A good #2 SP. That will cost the team dearly as there aren't many around 3. A RH 1B man who is at least decent defensively that can also hit the baseball. Toro is tanking 4. A backup catcher Its a lot.

If they are going all in, yes. I don’t think they have the talent to compete for a ring or to even make a deep run IF they make the playoffs. They have the nucleus of that team but they’re not there yet.

Try to pay attention. Yesterday I wrote that Bello settled down nicely and that the loss wasn’t his fault. When the team blows like the FLOPS do there’s not much to write that’s positive.
