  1. There’s nothing worse than being mediocre.
  2. There were definitely some bright spots. Not sure I agree with all of them you listed. I believe Turner has a player option. If he leaves we will also need a good RH bat. SP is out most obvious need. I think it’s going to take two years. Then we can make a good run if it’s done properly.
  3. Moon….it’s been over for several weeks. This team is mediocre which is even worse than being bad. At least if you’re a bad team to can get a good draft pick.
  4. It’s not going to get done in one year-and Bloom hasn’t demonstrated any capacity to get it done at all.
  5. Pivetta is awful He fits right in
  6. Like he pounced on Kluber?
  7. Lots of swinging at balls in the dirt-all year long.
  8. That was a brain dead play too Idiots
  9. Good grief Just tuned in to see that the Flops are still playing brain dead baseball
  10. Obviously things should have been done differently before the season began. I was referring to standing pat at the deadline. I think we should have started the rebuilding process by being SELLERS at that time. Bloom has had two years now. Time for a change. And if Henry is going to keep the lid on spending he should think about selling the team.
  11. What would have been the point of adding something to this years team? The amount of help they needed would have exacted an exorbitant price. Its not like adding a single very good SP would have saved the season. We needed two or three of them. IMO it was best not to add but instead to SELL for the future. In 2-3 years the team could be competitive again that way.
  12. At least we will likely finish ahead of the Yankees. So there’s that…..
  13. Yeah But wait til next year Right? What a bunch of losers
  14. We are not going to get much for Yoshida because of his bloated contract.
  15. We needed Martin for the ninth
  16. Betts will exact his revenge right here
  17. They need to PREVENT more runs. You can’t score 6+ runs every day.
  18. Mathematically it’s possible, obviously. But from what I remember Houston is ahead of us and so is Toronto. There aren’t many games left to right the ship. Both teams ahead of us are better teams and their records prove it. Unless our SP and our defense improve greatly we won’t be playing in October.
  19. He’ll be fine. He’s just back off the injured list. Still getting his bearings. The pen is really the only solid part of this team.
  20. The Dodgers are just a much better team. It shows.
  21. Nice They can’t even hold a three run lead.
  22. Maybe so, but I see it as realistic. We are what-5 games behind the M’s now? Time is running out. And the team isn’t particularly solid except the pen. Nothing I have written here is untrue.
  23. Exactly Management tried to play it halfway, neither buyers nor sellers. That was a mistake.
  24. The “must win” games happened when the Js swept us. Mathematically we aren’t eliminated yet but realistically the season is over. Time to bring up some more kids for a cup of coffee.
