Exactly. If they just asked him to play there without a good reason I could understand him questioning it. Even so these guys should be willing to play wherever they’re asked to play to the best of their ability. There’s just no room for divas on a sports team-especially with a large group of young players who are still learning what it means to be a good teammate at the major league level.

Ummm…try to pay attention. Devers was asked by Breslow to play 1B and his response was “no thanks. I’m good”. The team needed him to play 1B and he refused. Definitely not a team player.

We are going nowhere this year. The more games we lose the less likely Breslow will do something stupid like try to salvage another list season by becoming buyers and the better our draft position will be. We will miss Devers production but you don’t rebuild a team with self centered divas. It’s exactly the wrong place to start.
