  1. “The team as a whole far surpassed what anyone of us expected. ” I don’t know what YOU expected but I know this: YOU only speak for YOU”. I speak for me alone and I expected a better performance this year than the flops have so far demonstrated. They are UNDERPERFORMING imo. Last year they didn’t have the personnel to win. They improved in that regard and yet they STILL can’t get the job done.
  2. Maybe he has. But obviously it didn’t sink in yet. Narvaez is a rookie and unless his mistakes are corrected he’ll continue to make them. Fortunately we have one of the best (retired) catchers available to teach him the ropes. Not to take advantage of Teks knowledge would be stupid.
  3. Its been a recurring problem with him (the catchers interference). He needs some friendly instruction from someone who knows the game better than he does-Varitek.
  4. He’s basically all we have at catcher. Still, Cora or better still Varitek should privately talk to him about his rookie mistakes.
  5. Think Chapman will be as good next year or the year after when the FLOPS might be competitive again? Let’s trade him while his value is still high.
  6. I’d trade Chapman since the team isn’t competitive anyway. Plan for next year or the year after. I don’t care who closes for these bums.
  7. He’d had company. Duran failed to move Ref to 3B in the 10th. Too many swings at balls a foot off the plate.
  8. Trade both. This team is going nowhere. Even if the squeak into the playoffs they’ll be quickly eliminated.
  9. Anthony joins the bum parade by striking out on a ball that was eye level then another one in the dirt. Game over.
  10. Casellanos should join the Flops. He Ks on a ball a foot outside
  11. Because I think we could get an excellent return for him. He won’t be better next year. And others could close.
  12. Chapman has been outstanding this year. I’d be tempted to trade him if we can get a very good return.
  13. I’d never throw Rafaela a strike. There’s no need. Meanwhile Boohler did the job tonight. Surprisingly.
  14. Rafaela really isn’t very good. By the end of the year everyone will see it. He strikes out on a ball two feet outside
  15. Actually I did. Not at a high level. But that’s irrelevant. Even people with no baseball experience can comment on the game with intelligence.
  16. I don’t expect Rafaela to get better at controlling the zone. That’s why by the end of the year I expect his production to be much lower.
