Gotta wonder what the locker room was like for the guy last year considering how much money he was making and how not worth the money he performed. I hope he hurries the hell up and becomes relevant.

Hope so. Hate seeing these guys get destroyed or be halfway decent and have the bullpen let them down. Even if you have a great outing and lose because of the pen it has to destroy your confidence.

I'll be watching the B's on the big screen and the Sox on the iPad. I think they win this one as the offense keeps rolling and Clay gives a just enough outing.

Had to work tonight so I missed the game. Glad to see I was right about them winning big, but I guess my Cody Ross prediction was dead wrong. The offense definitely has the gusto to make this team playoff bound if the pitching can just manage mediocre.

When is Dice K due back? I think he could definitely eat up some innings in middle or long relief. He can't handle starting pitching innings over a full season anyway.

I saw him in the dugout after the last win, and it irked me to see him celebrating and hanging out with the team. -
I think they're gonna have to make some moves internally, and through trade to shore up the back of the rotation. One injury to a starter right now, and we're screwed. I think they're suspect at catcher, and shortstop. Outfield doesnt look great but when Crawford and Ellsbury return it'll be awesome so I give them a pass on that spot for now. Just don't think the current team has it this year, and that's ok with me. We're getting rid of some big contracts right now, and this team will be completely different in two years.

If Bobby V can take this current group and win a World Series I'll buy an authentic Bobby V jersey :thumbsup:

I don't think players should tell the manager anything except yes sir. I'm all for Bobby V knocking the Prima Dona's down a notch, but I still think the second John Farrell's contract is up he's getting a huge contract from the Sox.

I'm not a real believer that he has to watch what he says. The players get paid millions to play baseball to the best of their ability. If Bobby V has to be a villain to make that happen so be it. I don't think that's the case here tho, and I believe it was a misunderstanding. If Bobby wanted to publicly call out Youk he would, and there wouldn't be any apology afterward.

Excellent win for the Sox. I think the most exciting thing so far this year is how well Ortiz is hitting so far. Usually takes the big guy a month or two to get going, but he's killing the ball right now.
