    I think its promising that after the 0-4 game, WMB comes back with a 2-3 night including a HR, 2 rbi's, and a walk to boot. I'm thinking Youk to Cincy for a bowl of chili.

    Lavarnway is hitting .260ish right now I hope if he gets called up he's more a .280 hitter. I'm done with the Salty era.

    I'm liking a700's idea from the GDT. Put WMB in left when Youk comes back. Not like DMac is going to win any gold gloves out there. Speaking of Middlebrooks, he needs to hurry up and get issued his real number. I need a road jersey and I don't want to be like the people who bought Ellsbury jerseys.

    I wish they'd hurry up and snap out of this. So many missed opportunities already this year.

    Can't imagine how good that lineup will be with Ellsbury and Crawford back healthy. The only weak link in offense will be catcher.

    I think a gamble of moving Dice K to the pen would be an amazing move. He can't handle a full MLB starting pitcher work load, and I don't think he'll ever be able to. But coming out of the pen I think he could be dominant, and that pillar the pen needs.

    I have MLB.tv so I can always watch the NESN broadcast.

    Had to go to a b-day party tonight so checked MLB at Bat app under the table for most of the night. Nice to get a win that didn't require a football score from the offense.

    I know it's a pipe dream, because it came from my living room, and not Landsdowne Street. I don't hate Youk, but I'm not emotionally attached to him either. If he can be traded for something of value and Middlebrooks is ready then ship him out.

    Well they've finished dead last in their division 6 out of the last 10 seasons, and haven't made the playoffs since 2001 so I guess they're looking at the extreme long term.

    He may have massive potential, if you say so, but he isn't near as good as Youk is right now. It's not even close. He hit .218 in a 100 games and .234 in a 123 games. I understand he's young, but Youk never hit that low, and I'm not expecting him to anytime soon. Youk is better in every category and I don't expect that to change this season or next. If hitting .230 is what Seattle needs to win then they're all shored up I guess.

    If he wouldn't be a significant upgrade at either 1st or 3rd I'd agree with you.
