Not really buying all that. DD didn't even get a chance to fail, unless you consider 2019 a disaster. The 2021 team was mostly residual from DD. "Someone in between Chaim and DD". Yeah sure, that's cake.

The funny thing is that when Kike left, people started to realize the rest of the defense wasn't very good either.

Because the only reason you replace DD with Bloom is if you want to rebuild and get payroll under control.

They've sacked 3 guys in a row after 4 years. Bloom was the guy I thought they might be patient with. I think we can all forget about patience now.

So who was making the errors and blunders - guys who just aren't good fielders, inexperienced guys? I think you have to go through that too.

And personally, I'm not faulting Cora or the team for their effort. I think they've been doing their best. The woefully thin starting rotation has just been impossible to overcome.

We're not far from making it 3 last-place finishes. Bloom is still the "CBO of record" for this season.

Henry and Werner have been excellent owners. They've also been miserable pricks. You can be both. Bloom knew what he was getting into, though, or he should have.
