Nobody knows what goes on the clubhouse, but with Francona you always had the sense he had the players' backs. Farrell is a complete mystery in that regard. That's one of the reasons I really have no idea if he's a good manager or not. He's won a World Series and 2 division titles, but he's also finished last 4 times.

We are averaging 3.82 runs a game and slugging .378. Wow those are ugly numbers, especially for a team that plays in a hitters' park.

Other than Sale and Kimbrel and a few others, this team looks like s***. I think there's a pretty good chance Farrell gets the axe if it keeps looking that way much longer. But who is a possible replacement?

No, but you're all over a guy who had a 5.6 WAR last year because he's having a slow start and because you've been calling to trade him forever, instead of giving him a chance to come around.

2015 was a bad year for him but he still had a 2.0 WAR in 93 games. Last year he had a 5.6 WAR. This year he's off to a slow start so you're hovering like a buzzard.

Where is his defense and his WAR? At today's rates a 2 WAR player is worth about 15 million.
