  1. Yes, it's never early to panic, DORK.
  2. I guess this settles the question of whether the catchers are calling the pitches during the game.
  3. Now he's the only one with an insulting signature LOL
  4. Rose is a scumbag, but he's got nothing on Dykstra, seriously. I'll list some of his other notable doings when I get time.
  5. I think it's a slightly different situation. The Yankees could outspend us if they wanted to because they have significantly higher revenues. They have made the decision not to, last year and this year. We couldn't outspend the Yankees back when George was running the team. They had much higher revenues and they had George.
  6. I'm sure some of you have read about the recent exploits of a Mr. Dykstra. Well, in his new book, Ron Darling makes a shocking accusation, that before Game 3 of the 1986 World Series, Dykstra unleashed a tirade of racist remarks and insults at Red Sox starting pitcher Dennis (Oil Can) Boyd. Darling says the shocking attack seemed to rattle Oil Can. The scumbag Dykstra would hit a leadoff homer to ignite a 4-run first, and the Mets would take the crucial game easily. https://nypost.com/2019/03/30/ron-darling-lenny-dykstras-racist-tirade-helped-mets-win-world-series/
  7. I'm guessing you've been booted from some Yankee forums too.
  8. That's one way of looking at it. If Betts does go to free agency, it's 2 whole years before the moment of truth, and a lot will have happened by then.
  9. The Red Sox have had one of the highest payrolls for about two decades now. To be honest I love the fact that we're now outspending the Yankees and that many of their fans are complaining about it.
  10. This really is crazy. Probably just a temporary blip.
  11. But as you tried to tell moon, we usually have trouble in your park. He wouldn't listen.
  12. The Cot's number of $227 mill appears to be the right one. Here are their numbers. I added a column for the running total to make it easy to confirm. 13. I hate everything that doesn't fit my schedule.
  14. Same. Especially when it's an hour later here.
  15. Pedroia got his knee ripped up by Machado. Unfortunately, no one can foresee injuries...could easily happen to Bogey too.
  16. So you don't actually buy into projections at all.
  17. Better 1-3 than 0-4 LOL
  18. Well, now I have to figure out where the $10 million difference comes from.
  19. Cot's has you at $227 mil.
  20. This is actually a pretty big change they made in the new CBA, allowing teams to choose what year to make extensions effective. I'm guessing the thing with Sale's deferral was in the new CBA too. Funny that just now we're seeing there were some measures that did encourage teams to spend by being able to juggle the tax numbers a bit.
  21. Yeah, I don't know what analytics system would advocate Gardner leading off. 10 years ago sure.
  22. So 15-20 years ago. Like I said...
  23. That s*** stopped long ago. You need to pull your ass out of the past.
