  1. It's a SwihartsGhost storm here, folks.
  2. It's nice to have some good news for a change. And this definitely qualifies as good news.
  3. Sorry, I misread what you were saying.
  4. He was exonerated for 2018, actually.
  5. There's a pretty good chance it's the Red Sox. Even Shaughnessy was hinting at this.
  6. This is pretty damn good news. The loss of that draft pick is the only stinger, but it's much less than initially feared. I think we can give Jacko a bit of heat now, tempered of course by our appreciation for his service.
  7. The Last Dance is pretty good s***.
  8. Implying, that is. (Runs for cover.)
  9. I wasn't expecting that second one after the first one LOL
  10. It's a trade BTW, with the Pats getting a 4th round pick and the Bucs getting a 7th round pick.
  11. I had a feeling this would happen.
  12. This 10 hour ESPN docuseries on the 1997-98 Bulls looks like it should be pretty good stuff.
  13. Hard to know the lasting effect on the economy itself.
  14. Many golfers who have played in the Ryder Cup say it's the most pressure they've ever felt and that it can affect you physically-difficulty breathing etc.
  15. I think it's all about control. In golf, the ball just sits there waiting for you to hit it, so it's all on you. In baseball, the hitter is opposed by the pitcher and the fielders.
  16. I was a bandwagon Tigers fan in 1968. They pulled off a pretty amazing comeback in the World Series that year.
  17. I love the clutch debate, I think it's interesting and fun. One thing I have mentioned a few times is that in another sport, professional golf, nobody argues whether clutch and choke exist or not. Everyone agrees that they do. So it might be sort of interesting to examine the similarities and differences between the two games. Unfortunately we don't have many golf fans here.
  18. R.I.P. Hank.
  19. James Earl Jones - now there is a man with an incredibly diverse filmography.
  20. If you're only talking about team sports. It's true that in baseball the players don't come in close contact throughout the game. But it does happen several times a game, mainly on the base paths. Conferences on the mound would have to be scrapped, presumably.
  21. It's your thread bro.
