I'm going to kick your ass if you're lying, (There was a guy at another message board I used to go to who lied about cancer and got all of our sympathy and, in some cases, donations) but if you're not, wow, man. I don't want Manny for Beltran. Mets are my 2nd favorite team, and I watch them a good amount, and Beltran was a big dissapointment this year, for all that money.

Don't get TOO excited. I don't see all of them being good just next year. But when you look the general next 3-5 years, OH YES.

Well, yes, I'd love to see him a Red Sock, but he's not a FA, if I'm not mistaken. And if he isn't, what kind of trade could we pull for him? And has anyone like Theo even expressed intrest in Sori yet? Is Sori even unhappy in Texas? You see, there's lots of questions.

Well, I can accept no Soriano, but I'd really love him, especially if we also signed Huff and got some starting pitching. We could potentially have a top of the lineup like this: Johnny/Whoever replaces him Renteria SS Ortiz DH Manny LF Huff 1B Soriano 2B That's six good hitters. That's a feared lineup if I ever saw one. Combine that with getting one or two good ptichers, and we're in the Championship hunt.

I hope they don't. He didn't have the best year, but Bronson is a likeable guy.

Well, I was at the movies, in the bathroom, with my radio. I just screamed a few obsenities, and then when back to the move all pissed. I was jumping at people all night.

Agreed. IF we got him, which I'd LOVE, it's really like to see him batting leadoff. Even if we keep JD, we could perhaps have them alternating leadoff every few games or so.

Does Pedroia hit? Because I'd really like a 2B who can field, and most of all, hit for average.

I could me underestimating his intelligence, but I think, for someone like him, he wouldn't be so polite if he were dying to get out of Beantown.

How is Papelbon when staying in longer? We didn't really see him staying in for more than 3 innings that much.

I hope we can get Soriano, but since it now looks like Tony G will be moving on, then let it be. But I'm not too sure about our second base situation if we can't get Soriano or resign Tony G.

Well, I'm not so sure about the Devil Rays, so you could be right. Unless they're feeling really friendly, or they're in a dire need for prospects.

I don't want to see Arroyo leave. I think the Aubrey Huff for Abe Alvarez is a good deal, even though I really like Abe Alvarez, he probably doesn't have a future here, and it would be a good move for him, to go somewhere where he can possibly get into the majors.
