You massively undervalue the talent of this lineup and the top three of this starting rotation: I don't.
You think that every possible thing that can go wrong with this team will go wrong: I don't.
You think that none of the low-risk acquisitions made so far will pan out: I think they'll get league-average innings from one of those pitchers.
In conclusion, while there will be problems like every other season, there's no reason for me to believe that an improvement in clubhouse culture is not going to help this team maximize its potential. This is a good team, and if you think otherwise, feel free to do so.
However, if you feel that you can berate me because i take a more optimistic view of what the season will be the Red Sox, then expect me to promptly tell you to go f*** yourself. Otherwise, we can agree to disagree.
