  1. Gotta admit, this is pretty damn funny haha.
  2. You're probably the whitest person on this board.
  3. Left-handed hitters pull the ball to right field, not left field.
  4. What about John Smoltz? Or Chris Carpenter?
  5. I've been back for a while as User Name?
  6. Where's the data to back this up? You keep spouting dribble with absolutely nothing in the form of research to back it up. Give me a list of pitchers in their 30's who have not been able to come back from TJ effectively in the last decade.
  7. I think you have it backwards. Better pitching would turn this team into a contender. JH is very much an expensive offensive luxury for a team that can score runs but can't prevent them.
  8. No he isn't. Stop whining. They have similar career OPS's, yet Victorino is a worlds better defender and baserunner. It was still an overpay, but saying that Ross is a better ballplayer than Victorino borders on the moronic.
  9. The Red Sox don't have nearly enough money to make your plan work and stay under LT. What are you smoking?
  10. It's very unlikely he hits three or four right now. The Victorino signing pretty much assures a shift from the two to the three spot for Pedroia, with Ortiz hitting fourth.
  11. If you stop the angry rambling for one second and analyze the team as it stands you'll notice the following: 1) The offense is competent, not bad as you say. Stop the hyperbole. 2) The bullpen has talent, but lacks a reliable closer. 3) The rotation needs at least two pieces. That's the reality of the Red Sox right now, and whining is not going to change it.

  13. That's exactly what the poster is implying. It's just worded strangely.
  14. He's talking about stolen base attempt success rate, where Victorino holds an ever-so-slight 82 to 81% edge over Ellsbury.
  15. Jesus Christ, take some Midol man.
  16. http://rlv.zcache.com/oh_god_why_poster-r7b00b1c0fbda42659b0db714922c7a9d_29dst_400.jpg
  17. Aren't you always saying that you're scared of soft-tossing lefties at Fenway? With an average fastball velocity of 88 MPH for his career, Jason Vargas is the textbook definition of a soft-tossing lefty.
  18. It makes no sense to spend a ton of money trying to contend then turn around and trade Lester.
  19. That's why he's "good" not "elite". And my post was geared towards both points of your earlier comment, and the things you post in general.
  20. Hamilton AND Swisher? Yeah that's not happening.
  21. I'm riding this boat.
  22. Whoa there, easy on the hyperbole.
  23. Please include Meh and his fast-food diet plan.
