  1. What does this even mean? One of the things scouts always raved about WMB as a hitter was his ability to hit to any part of the field with power. The fact that he has problems with down-and-away sliders (like almost any RHH in the planet) doesn't mean he should stop swinging at outside stuff entirely. That makes no sense.
  2. How many DPs can a team ground into?
  3. Yeah it's a good idea to give Napoli a day off.
  4. Actually he'd easily ground the plane
  5. He'd probably get hurt and have to go on the pilot DL sitting in the cabin
  6. How can he foul it off if he doesn't swing?
  7. Yeah but he's actually been pitching very good after a brutal stretch to start the year. Farnsworth has flat-out sucked ass.
  8. Professor Farnsworth has a 6.82 ERA and 1.86 WHIP, so i highly doubt they'd replace Rodney with him. Peralta or McGee seem like more reliable options.
  9. That depends on how he's pitching and Bailey's health. To this day, Papelbon is opearating with career lows in FB velocity (92.4) and K/9 (6.48). There may be something there.
  10. And Tazawa gets the save, going TWO INNINGS, something Papelbon is rarely able to do, proving once again that repeating the same wrong idea over and over again does not make it true.
  11. All of this good stuff from WMB with a dislocated rib, mind you
  12. Jesus Christ Drew. What an awful AB.
  13. Yeah those are pretty much the most important moves to make. Have Victorino lead-off and sit Salty's ass.
  14. Hanrahan had bone spurs removed today, and they ended up having to do TJS on him as well, like many expected.
  15. So should Farrell rest the entire offense and call up the AAA lineup to play a few games? Because it's a team-wide slump.
  16. The "battle of the aces" between Verlander and Darvish tonig has unsurprisingly turned into a slugfest: It's 8-4 Texas in the 4th inning.
  17. No it wasn't. You may need to temper your expectations of what a "good" offensive showing is.
  18. Andrew Bailey and Franklin Morales can not get here soon enough.
  19. Why is Salty still catching for this team?
