    I don't think you quite understand the type of talent we're talking about when mentioning Bogaerts. A package of that size headlining Bogaerts (with WMB and Workman being interchangeable pieces) would pretty much net the Sox anyone who's available

    Dude, you don't really know what's going on behind the scenes. It's not on Buchholz that the Sox doctors haven't been able to pinpoint whatever the hell the problem is. And this isn't necessarily in defense of Buchholz, i just find it hilariously ironic how much you spout off about how "entitled" he is. I think it's more entitled to keep questioning someone who clearly has a physical problem that neither he nor the doctors have been able to accurately pinpoint. If he rushed back and lost the rest of the season, then you'd be complaining about the foolishness of him rushing back.

    The very definition of a contract "extension" is to add time to a current contract. It'd auto pick-up the option and add six years AFTER the current contract expires.

    I honestly couldn't? Buchholz, basically the entire BP, Victorino, Drew, Ortiz didn't start etc etc etc. The difference is the Sox have gotten unexpected production from guys that were supposed to be non-factors, but it's not like they haven't been a hospital too. Woe is not you in this case.
