  1. Hanley with a triple on his first Dodger swing
  2. Hopefully it's Aviles, Salty, or Punto.
  3. Ellsbury has to get traded this offseason, unless they think they can resign him. I can't imagine both Ells and Crawford being in the OF in 2014, nevemind 2013. They need to listen to any and calls they get for Crawford, Beckett, Salty, Aviles, and Punto. Lester, Buchholz, and Lackey should be the 2, 3, and 4 going into 2013. Morales could be the 5, which leaves us a #1 to go acquire.
  4. I think I'm just frustrated watching other teams get better while we do nothing. We have the pieces to go out and get a Greinke or one of Philly's aces (Lee/Halladay) or someone like that. An ace takes so much pressure off of the rest of our rotation and bullpen.
  5. Crawford didn't even have to be included. We could've had Hanley for a prospect, and it didn't even have to be a good one. It seems like a lot of people here are looking at one trade at a time, instead of multiple at once. Crawford could've been moved at a later date.
  6. Greinke will end up in Texas by July 31. They need starters desperately and have plenty of farm depth, so I could see them renting him for a few months. I really thought we'd make some big moves, but it looks like we'll end up at around .500 with mostly the same roster next year.
  7. We could've gotten Hanley for any of the no-ceiling prospects we have stashed. Aviles could've actually got sent away.
  8. I think Aviles and Punto getting a big hit are the only 2 I'd complain about, just because I don't like them.
  9. Are you f***ing kidding me? These little hits are what's going to make Aviles our SS for the next 10 years. He was in the doorway and just needed a few more nudges to be gone.
  10. Maybe Hamilton will finally do something. He was incredible to watch through May, but since? He's hitting like Carl Crawford.
  11. Crush his psyche!
  12. I'm gonna end up as a DBacks fan if Sox management continues to be garbage. We've already been to Chase Field a few times and my son is asking for DBacks gear.
  13. De La Torre had TJS in 2008 and missed a whole season. His peripherals look pretty good and his overall MiLB numbers are very good since the surgery. He could turn into a really good pitcher.
  14. As I said before, pull the trigger on big deals. But only if it doesn't inhibit our ability to get a top starter either this season or this offseason.
  15. Definitely a possibility, but who would they give Boston that could make an impact in 2013?
  16. If someone would seriously take Crawford from us and give us a young, former AS with good power/speed AND hits from the right side, why the hell wouldn't we take it? Even if we had to take back an overpaid reliever.
  17. I want to apologize to everyone that saw that this team was in shambles weeks, even months ago.
  18. Crawford, Beckett, and Lackey will make $51M next year between them. There's no reason we shouldn't be able to flip them for young, serviceable players with some heart.
  19. Liriano gave up 7 in 2.2.. He'd fit in well here
  20. I'm trying to give them just a little credit, but you're both right. This season has been a lost cause from the get go.
  21. The turning point of the season was blowing that 9-0 lead to the Yankees.
  22. Crawford for Hanley, make the f***ing trade.
