  3. yep i agree with you, its not the right thing to do, but he obviously was mentally unstable and depressed to a degree. people like these need to have a dog. does wonders! as it takes your mind away from the depression. Read it a while ago but a survey suggested it did help a lot of depressed guys to come out of it.
  4. Mo getting emotional.. never seen that happen.. as much as i hate them yankees i would never think i would say this but i didnt feel good watching his interview esp when he said he let his team down.. http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=21135519&c_id=mlb
  5. Excellent quote.... even though i hate the uniform he wears one of the very few guys i respect and admire.
  6. i hear you all the way but when you are at home playing one of the lousiest teams, it begs the question. why arent we able to take 2 out of 3 from them. i know we are injurred but as you mentioned we have really good starting core of pitchers yet the run support vanishes 2 games out of 3. as belhorn04 suggested. we score 12 in 1 game and 2 and 3 on the other so overall it looks like we scored a lot but end up loosing 2 out of 3. we won against Chicago and Minnesota but they are one of the worst teams this year nothing to boast about that. Now we play baltimore at home. with Lester Cook and Buch lets see how this series goes. their pitching staff is really turning it around. and i for one dont think its a total fluke they have some quality arms in their rotation. and Bluejays take 2 out of 3 from texas and that too by outhitting them..
  7. yepp.. and the fact they were down 6-0 came back to take the lead went down 13-8 and then to tie and win.. awesome just awesome.

  14. here is something to ponder on.. Tim McClelland in his 4000th game (holy s*** how young did he start) thought he had it all covered and blows a call. http://mlb.mlb.com/cutfour/article.jsp?content_id=30158744
  15. here is something to ponder on.. if we think we all know more than someone else out there Tim McClelland in his 4000th game (holy s*** how young did he start) thought he had it all covered and blows a call. http://mlb.mlb.com/cutfour/article.jsp?content_id=30158744

  17. yep true that
  18. attaboy i want to see Middlebrooks play..
  19. well its still a young season, i for one am rooting for them. they have some core young players. Strassburg and his command just pure brilliance. they have got Gio Lanahan and bullpen has some decent depth.. and Harper is just 19.. their starting pitchers are doing a pretty decent job of going 6 innings. would be an outstretch but if they can get youngsters pull thru some key games and win they might win the NL east.
