    I thought Shane should have switched back with a few games left to go in the regular season if he was going to switch back at all. You could definitely see signs of what turned Vic into a switch hitter in the first place. But if he was not going to switch at that point I thought he should stay RHed throughout.

    And that is what I want the Sox doing more of against this turkey. Look for FB's and kill them. You hit a FB that good when you are looking FB and location.

    They won't be bloops for long if Jon does not improve his location. That is why I'm concerned. 1st innings have not been Jon's strong suit this season. Perhaps he will make better pitches when he comes out again. A few runs would make him feel better for sure.

    Don't like Gomes starting instead of Nava. Prefer Gomes off the bench late to PH. Don't like XB batting where he is. If you are going to bat him that far down the order, bat him 9th ahead of Ells coming up at the top of the order.

    Well one thing that will heip us tonight is that Comerica should be friendlier to a LH pitcher than Fenway. Almost any mistake Jon makes in Fenway hurts him and it is easy for a LH pitcher to get hurt in Fenway even when he is not making a mistake. I think chances are good that Jon will be the starting pitcher that gets the kudo's tonight.

    Better AB's a lot of s*** baseball put behind them...Pedey etc. Looking good for the Thursday game.

    Given how ugly the hitting has been an XB appearance is in order and it should be or Drew. In fact, why not tonight....what ...this is a tight defensive struggle too????

    I don't know....we have seen this in the regular season as well. Farrell just does not believe in sending the Pitching Coach out there to help a guy settle down...he does not do it with rooks, never mind vets. It is just what he believes but I really think he is wrong on that one. Seen time and time again where helping the pitcher just get his feet under him when he is walking on air settles him out and he can at least give you what he has at that point. Might have saved Peavey who did not need a rocket ship to be circling the moon at that point in the game. All managers have their own set of ideas about what is what and the Custom's House will topple onto Faneuil Hall before one of them changes a thing.

    I know Peavey is a vet and blah blah blah but what does it hurt to go out and just give him a minute to settle when he is obviously just about a foot off the ground? Nieves should have been out there about eight walks ago

    I was not tuned into any Detroit stations but I heard that Prince Hippo is just getting murdered out there for his play and for his outward calm in the face of general suckage on his part.
