Imagine how tanked Mitch would be if we didn't have Pearce. At least there is a chance that Mitch can get enough rest here at the end to at least contribute in the post season. Sandy is the guy that really needs the rest.

This is what is frustrating about most of our RH hitters. This guy hasn't even been throwing hard sliders down and away. He is just throwing nothingballs to the outer edge every pitch and we STILL can't hit it.

Unbelievable...doesn't our dugout realize Perez just sets up outside for every RH hitter every pitch.

I don't know why our other RH hitters are not taking advantage of how petrified Plutko is of coming inside. Mookie certainly is.

Plutko is completely unscary to RH hitters. Mookie is reaching a foot outside to hit that.

Regardless of there being a few better SS's in MLB, I would wager that X is the best of all of them going right regardless of how famous, how many GG's whatever.

Donaldson.....I wonder if he will ever play anything close to 100 games in a season again. I suppose anything is possible. If Tiger Woods can win a PGA event after spinal fusion surgery, I guess anything is possible. Wonder what vertebrae were fused. Imagine he had to completely rebuild his golf swing.

X was always better going right than going left. Now he is just ridiculous going right.

Easy to see why Plutko does not get RH hitters out even though he is a RH pitcher. He won't scare anybody off the plate the way he pitches. If a pitcher can't make same handed hitters move their feet, he would do just as well not to show up at all.

If Pom makes the post season roster it can only be chalked up to a DD face saving gesture. The guy who sweeps out the clubhouse would be a more valuable asset to our pen.
