I thought that is why he got eddie up because it could not be to come into the 6th. Eddie can't warm that fast. So I though eddie was coming in for one inning. Anything would have been better than bringing Work back out after that hot mess.

Eddie is probably coming into this game if he is still warming out there. It takes him a long time to get warm. So if you are going to get him warm you might has well use him.

At least in my case, I am not questioning whether Sale was fading. He was. But we said it for weeks! The starters have got to work out of at least one jam or this pen will cook our goose for us. They are that bad!

I think Cora has decided that using Wright out of the pen this early in the series is basically a surrender flag. He wants Wright for the f***ing Stadium.

We said at the end of the season that the starters were going to have to try to get out of that first jam of the night. This is still the give up a run to get an out pen. Its uncanny. I don't care how much we score, if Cora does not manage the starters and pen right, the arsonists are just going to give up too many runs. Leave the opponent 9 outs ahead of Kimbrel and they could score 6 runs while we try to get 9 outs.

Anybody watch the Brewers/Rockies series so far. Brewers have just pitched the Rockies right into the ground. Would like to see the Brewers have some success, at least for awhile. Happ's got Porcello disease worse than Porcello. Nice inning Chris.

Being elderly, I would offer that I would never banish a GT starter for an entire post season for a lost game. Off the top of my head, I would say banishment for the remainder of that specific series should be punishment enough. Alternative: We trade you to the MF Yankee board for cash considerations and let them deal with you. Lets just say we should not have to deal with this for awhile and leave it at that.

So thats the rub though. As soon as Kelly pulls a Kelly the Game Thread, whenever it is will go absolutely ballistic and rightfully so. Kelly does not really bring much to the table and I trust him not at all under post season pressure. I would have taken Poyner just to have one. Erod needs time to warm. You are not going to bring him in a pinch. You are going to bring him when you can see the need coming with a pair of binoculars.
