Well I will give you this, glove side plays are not Moreland's strong suit, not over a career. I don't think he will rise to GG 1st base again in his career. I would give that a 50-50 shot for Mitch. 10 chances, 5 successes.

That was a really hard play for Mitch to make. Far from a sure thing. If Chavis had thrown the ball instead of flipping it Gurriel would not have even come to the plate.

He shook the arm a bit after he winced also. He may have the flu as well. But I doubt he was throwing like that in the pen or they would not have let him take the mound. Slider velo was nowhere. If he was not throwing like that in his warmups then it stands to reason something happened on the mound itself.

Thats the point. He would have been throwing cow dung out in his warmups with the flu. If he is that weak, you don't put him on the mound. I don't believe it. I will hope for it. But I don't believe it. Plus Price winced and shook his arm. What the hell does the flu have to do with that?
