  1. Clay looking sharp so far! For some reason the feed I'm watching keeps freezing. Very annoying.
  2. Yup. I think we're getting in the head of the Yankees pitching staff right now. Won't be long till we are racking in the runs.
  3. Ya first game. I think everyone is a bit rusty, does t stress me out to much. As long as out pitching keeps it scoreless I'm happy lol.
  4. Thanks for the update. That's great to hear! I think Lester can lose confidence pretty easy at times. So getting off to a fast start for him is huge. Probably a big weight off of his shoulders.
  5. Anyone see the game.... Can tell me how Lester looked? He looked good on paper. But it seems some think he still looked a bit shaky today. First game and all not a big deal. Just curious.
  6. After the season we had last year. Ill take a win anyway we can get it. And today was a sweet win! Huge confidence booster winning the first game of the season against your rival. Happy day my Internet folks
  7. Valid point. He opened strong. I think it's a sign of good things to come. First game everyone is usually a bit rusty.
  8. Was unable to watch. But looked like Jon had a hell of a game. Hopefully we can hang on to the lead. Looked like at one point the Sox would run away with it. Wishful thinking against the Yanks I guess. Looks like JBJ is having a good game.
  9. Hell of a way to start the game! Following this at work is tough lol.
  10. Dear god. Don't jinx the man.
  11. You and me both brother. I'm really confident in our offense. Two things I want to see. Lester have a rebound year, and to see how Lackey holds up after the surgery. As for Clay, Felix, and Dempster I think they will be fine. We just need to get off to a fast start unlike last year where we played catch up the entire season.
  12. I just hope Lester has a good game. He has looked awesome in spring training. I hope it wasnt just a tease. What a true test to open against. This could be a HUGE confidence builder for him to get a win over the Yanks.
  13. I'm so excited today I could puke!!! Can't wait to see a fresh team on the field.
  14. Didnt see the game. But looks like Clay had another solid outing. Always good to see.
  15. I'm sure even he is ashamed of going to the Yankees.
  16. I definitely think it's a gamble. I see where your coming from, but it's so hard to ignore what he could do for this team. Money will always be an issue, but I have wanted a guy like Cliff Lee on this team for a while. (If he still plays like we know he can). If we pay a lot and get Lackey sort of thing, then it's different. That's the gamble you take unfortunately when you get superstars starting to pass their prime a bit.
  17. Wow. Seems to have lit a fuse under Ortiz. Can't say I blame him. Maybe he will bring that into the new season and have his best season yet
  18. Haven't posted in a while.... Baseball kind of loses its joy when your team is a basement team and nowhere close to even sniffing the playoffs. But I must say, as tough and heartbreaking as this season has been its going to really suck coming home to no Sox games on tv . Season went by way to fast.
  19. Well at one time it looked like a sure thing to me that the WhiteSox were headed to the playoffs, but now with Detroit heating up and the Sox seemingly sputtering and could very well miss the playoffs. Who do you think has a better chance to go to the World Series. Sox or Tigers?
  20. The schedule definitely isn't easy on the eyes, however if the Sox can manage to do well with that schedule that will help them in the playoffs. None the less I don't even want to look that far ahead. But I always welcome tough schedules.
  21. Didn't see the game..... We lost.... Clay played well.... I have zero emotions. I have be come a psychopath when it comes to the Red Sox
  22. I totally am to lol! I didn't know if it would make me sound like a bitter fan though cuz Boston sucks hahaha. But if someone els Is saying it.
  23. Haha. I was about to say must still be satisfying to beat us. Being that we are an absolute basement team I could see it being frustrating for almost any team to lose to us.
  24. This! We don't have a choice. The way I see it is I am a fan. Plain and simple. I don't have a choice. I am not going to root for another team.... Only the Sox... So I don't have a choice. I have to wait till they are a contender. I would rather they would make the playoffs now, but apparently they suck ass tremendously and won't make the playoffs. So here's hoping next year they are at least half decent. I know it sounds obvious, but any Red sox fan really had no choice but to put up with this ******** team till then. Dont get me wrong I like the NHL AND NFL but MLB Is my favorite to watch lately, so when my team sucks its upsetting. But all I have to do is be patient. As painful as it is........
