What a fantastic start to the season. 5 and 2 in the first 7. Clay has had two strong performances as has Lester. I am really finding myself comfortable with the pitching. Our 5th spot scares me a bit with Lackey hurt but we will jump off that cliff when we get there. Baltimore is a tough team and we played them well for the most part. I love how everyone seems to be chipping in. One night it's Pedroia the next it's Middle. Today Nava played a strong game. So refreshing to see this team. We will only get better once Ortiz and Drew are back -

Haha. I was never that kind of person even when he underperformed. I've always wanted Lackey to show us his true talent. Hopefully he makes a speedy recovery.

Unable to watch the game due to work. Reading the bad news about Lackey. So unfortunate. . Can anyone tell me how Aceves is looking. His stats are looking ugly. But sometimes that doesn't tell the hole story.

Another solid win. Jays always play us tough! Another barn burner right to the final inning. 3 and 1 to start the season. You couldn't really ask for a better start considering they opened against the Yanks. Time to drink some rum folks

Doubront I thought looked sharp early on he just looked out of gas the last few pitches. Looks to be a bit out of shape. Ugh. Here's hoping we can hang on to this lead.
