    Done baby!!! Barely hang on.... That was ugly but a win over the Yankees is a win!! This team is Rollin!! Keep it up boys.

    Calling for a sweep as well. Really pull ahead of Tampa in the division with this series.

    Disappointing series. But we have a struggling Jays series coming up. Hopefully we can take advantage and pull ahead of Tampa by a few games. Tampa seems to replicate our win and lose patterns lately.

    I know I shouldn't be nervous yet, but the season we had in 2011 really has me nervous for this second half of baseball. We look absolutely dead tonight. Absolutely no excuse for this as we had yesterday off. To make matters worst Tampa is spanking the Yanks.

    Glad we got the win and keep rolling. Absolutely needed it with Tampa playing so damn well. Next series against Oakland really has me nervous They play so well against us

    Amen! Finding ways to win this year has been the Way of the Sox. They can win in blowout fashion, or win a tight game in the 9th. Glad to see Lester for the most part was pretty solid. The pitching has done well with Clay being out of the lineup. Looks like for the most part we can count on our pitching if the offense isn't having a great day! Such a nice feeling.

    Didnt catch the game but looks like Lackey had a hell of a performance! Great to see. Socks keep rolling this and the Angels series are a good chance to really separate us from the rest of the pack.

    Didnt see the game today, but looks like Lackey had a strong performance. Glad we are getting these wins heading into our series with Toronto. I am nervous about Toronto. They have looked really good lately.

    Was really hoping we could have pulled out this win, playing against Verlander tomorrow won't be pleasant. Hopefully Sox can surprise me.

    Ya not quite sure what to say about Lester. I think confidence is a huge thing with him. He is pretty streaky. When he has a bad game, it seems to really get to him, and then he plays like s*** for another 3 or 4 starts. I personally am not to worried, I think he will snap out of this funk. (Hopefully sooner rather then later) As much as I hate to say it, Baltimore played pretty damn good this series.... Our offense didnt really help matters much either. Best we can do now is move on and hope for the best. We have a series against Tampa at home which is very winnable. Tampa has not looked good as of late. Hopefully we can turn things around a bit.

    This! With our offense we could almost have a bad starting rotation and still be a pretty decent team. Our starting rotation is plenty good enough for us to win on any given day. And when Clay is on..... Well look out. Lol might As well just write the other team off

    Really not sure what's up with Lester lately, hopefully he can rebound. We're not out of this by a long shot. Lester just needs to settle down a bit, and hopefully the offense can put something together here.

    He will have to be damn near perfect today, if our offense continues to struggle like this.

    Would be a perfect end to the day. Baltimore is playing a tough game though. With Tampa and yanks losing this win will be that much more exciting. On a side not the Yanks have really struggled against the Athletics wow.

    We are a strong team but Tampa is good as well. They usually play Boston tough, and for some reason Everytime we play Tampa it always seems to me we make the worst mistakes and at times look flat. Complete opposite of the Yankees where we usually look energized when playing them. Tampa just sucks the life out of us I guess lol.

    Has been a very slow game. Outside of a first great inning we really haven't played well tonight. But Tampa is a tough team, and it's always a good series against them. Guess it's to be expected. Can't keep my eyes open much longer. Hopefully this ends soon.

    Bailey has had some great saves. I still have high hopes for him. But as for having someone like Papplebon who knows how long it could take to find a talent like that.
