  1. Good god can't buy a run.
  2. Ya I questioned myself the second I sent that.
  3. Watching this offense has been painful lately.
  4. Gives lots of confidence for this season doesn't it lol.
  5. Didn't get to see the game but by the sounds of it the Sox played well as a hole team. Haven't seen that much this year yet. Do I dare say...... build confidence and get a streak going
  6. A win is a win I suppose so I'm not upset. But I do agree the pitching has to be better. Still early in the season and Clay had a strong outing last time he played so we will see what happens. As long as the offense can stay consistent and put up runs this team should be OK. But I agree with most on this board, our rotation isn't giving me a ton of confidence.
  7. This team can't seem to have a solid game. When the pitching is there the offense isn't and vice versa. Glad to see Clay have a good game but all for nothing.
  8. Just started watching the game now. By the sounds of it Clay hasn't had a strong Outing today. Ugh.
  9. Missed seeing Koji out there! Another win! What a fantastic start to the season! Keep it going boys.
  10. Hahahah couldn't have put it better myself! !
  11. Wow I can't believe this went 19 innings. Sad I missed the game but glad we got the win. Holy smokes what a battle!
  12. Sad I missed the game but awesome to see a strong outing for Clay! Start the season on a high note! !!
  13. Koji was the one constant for us all last year though. I think the staff really likes him. He is such a solid focused baseball player. I'm glad the team still has him. It's hard to say who we could have got for him, but when a team struggles to find a closer it can really hurt you in tight ball games. Then again..... I don't know how much Paplebon helped Philly lol.
  14. Absolutely agreed. Not sure what causes such inconsistency. Maybe the fact that we pretty much have no chance at making the playoffs so he doesn't have much pressure? But last year he was pretty consistent all year with all sorts of pressure. Very frustrating though.
  15. What an absolutely brilliant performance by Clay today. That is all lol
  16. Forgot what it's like to win back to back games. Feels great :-)
  17. The Jays must lick they're chops when they see they get to play a series against Boston. The last two series against the Jays have made me so unbelievably bitter.
  18. That was painful. Seemed like 4 innings went by.
  19. And the nightmare continues. It's getting really hard to watch the Sox play lately. It looks like they don't even care anymore.
  20. It's really a shame. After the season he had last year to come out here and stink it up like this. It kills the entire momentum giving up big runs in the first couple innings. Unfortunatrly with how inconsistent our offence is our pitchers most nights need to be perfect in order for us to get a win.
  21. Solid inning for Lackey. Looks very confident and relaxed out there.
  22. Another good win! Good pitching tonight. 3 in a row..... Have to keep it going though. Everyone els in the division unfortunately won today to. Baltimore is up big on Oakland.
