I am fine with losing a competitive game. We have injuries that's for sure. But what I am not fine with is how the offense goes from a powerhouse to nearly getting shut out for days on end. Sales last two stars have been atrocious and Porcello was horrible his last start too. It just seems wen this team starts having a melt down they burn completely. Again I'm fine with inconsistency especially with injuries. But this is the time you have to battle through with playoffs around the corner. And a lot of that falls on the Manager. There is still time to figure this s*** out but it's frustrating.

They absolutely define inconsistency. If this is the start of the year no problem. You assume they will work out the kinks. But with playoffs around the corner and playing the likes of Cleveland and Houston. This team is doing nothing to show me they can beat either of those teams in a series. A few weeks ago I would have said at least we will get one win with Sale pitching but with his last couple of starts. Even that I am not too comfortavle saying.

We are just too inconsistent at the end of the day. One week we look like we are right there with the Dodgers and the next week we are bottom of the barrel.

Jesus. What is going on with the pitching. Sale with back to back awful games and now Porcello. Man this team when they are off their groove they are really off. Absolutely depressing.

Porcello has really gotten it going lately. Baltimore is never an easy challenge..... Even with that horrific loss last night we still put up some decent runs. If the runs keep coming in and Porcello has a decent night this should be a win. Hopefully get over that nasty ass whoopin last night.

Ugly night for Sale. Really hope he gets his s*** together with playoff spot around the corner. Beating Cleveland 3 straight games is nearly impossible. But wasn't expecting this. Ugly. -
Our Ace is pitching tonight..... Get the series win boys! Keep that hot streak alive. My god.... to think we could be only 3 games back of Houston after tonight is pretty crazy haha.

Agreed with this completely. I am not in favour or against the contract we gave Price. I knew he would need a lot of money to pitch here. And last year we got exactly what we thought we would. He was fantastic through the regular season and then come post season he stinks it up. We all know that is what he does. He did it with Tampa and he did it with the Jays. The hope was to bring him here and with our offense and supporting staff he could get a win in the playoffs. Nobody would have predicted this year. However saying that I still think he would be the same Price if he wasn't missing so much time. He has had some good games this year and shows signs of his old self. Of course with how much time he is missing now it's definitely concerning. It happens every day unfortunately in sports. Players under perform and get injured. It's a risk you have to be willing to take. It could happen with Chris Sale too.

Yankees with 4 straight wins and getting on a roll. This will definitely be a dog fight. Just so happens Boston has been on a bit of a roll as well

That is a solid fan. I didn't start getting into baseball till I was about 15 years old. Never really watched sports in elementary school. I started watching the Sox a year before they won the World Series. And then I learned the history of their World Series struggles and thought maybe I was a good luck charm lol.

Koji was fantastic! Haven't paid much attention to him since he came to the Cubs but I do miss his pitching style. Dude was a gem.

Was a wild finish. My facebook was all over it as soon as I signed in lol. Been a while since I have seen a great ending like that. Would have been better if it was against the Yankees but we can do that this weekend to them.
