    Fister I believe could but doubt he will change anything especially how well he is pitching. Until the All Star break I would have said I dot give a s*** if Sale could pitch like that because he is among the best in the league. However lately I'm not sure anymore as it seems players more and more are starting to figure him out. With that being said a nasty strikeout for Rick there.

    Xander tried everything he could there. Porcello needs to settle down. He's gonna be gone before the 3rd even starts.

    Yup I would have been totally fine with a split. Absolute disaster. Offensively we sucked yet again. And I have no idea what is going on with Sale lately. Literally his last 3 out of 4 starts have been atrocious. Ugh this team!!!

    Unfortunately I agree as well. I was wondering how long the Nunez/Devers spark would last. I still think with solid pitching like Sale and Porcello gave us we are a dangerous team. We have taken the last two series wins against the Yankees and they do have a very good young team. The offense has gone cold there is no doubt about it but I have said all year as long as this team can give us 5 runs we have a chance at winning almost every single game we play. That is the problem with this team. It seems it's all or nothing. One game we hit 9/10 plus runs and the next game we are pretty much shut out. Super frustrating. Still a little bit of time before the playoffs hit for us to get it together offensively but I definitely thought we would have these kinks out by now.

    Yankees have a very good bull pen, however we have had success with them lately and a sweep against the Jays should get this team rolling a bit. This game will depend on how E-Rod plays tonight. Offense hasn't been spectacular lately so will obviously need some solid pitching today.

    Hopefully Sale finds his mojo today. His last two starts have been brutal! If he can bring it today and the offense has another nice day this should be a second straight win! Get er done boys!

    Really don't want to face Cleveland what so ever come playoffs. I think we would actually have a good shot at beating Houston. They have really cooled down in the second half of the season and we won our season series against them. But then again with how wildly inconsistent we have been any team could take us out in the playoffs. Hopefully this team turns it on entering playoffs.
