One bad inning from Porcello. He was pretty solid through the next 4 innings. Offensively we are laying a massive turd tonight.

Frustrating it really is. However he is pitching better. And our offence once again is sleeping.

Any updates on Prices arm? Another injury. Our luck down the stretch here hasn’t been kind.

The trouble is (main thing im worried about) is starters rarely make it past 5 innings or 6 tops in the playoffs. Not sure any of our starters made it past 4 innings last year. This bullpen needs to pitch better end of story. Come playoffs we will likely need at least 3 innings out of them. Not entirely sure I trust Kimbrel to pitch 2 innings either. Yes I would like to see our starters like Johnson go more than 4 or 5 in games like last night. But come playoffs it’s an entirely different animal against teams like the Yankees, Guardians, Astros and even Athletics.

Didn’t see the game tonight. Glad we won...... barely. To a team that is not very good. Hopefully this lights a spark.

I admit I can be bad for that too. I though he looked pretty solid his first two starts. I’m surprised how awful he has been ever since. A huge disappointment.

Completely agreed. All this two starts did was give false hope. What a train wreck.

Still gave us a chance to win through 5. This offense is putrid right now.

Don’t leave Porcello in for another 8 innings. He’s been solid this year but always left in an inning too long.

Poms still terrifies me when he pitches. He looks like he doesn’t have great control and still walks too many players. But somehow he has only given up 5 runs in his last 11 innings I believe. Which Isn’t horrible. I don’t know what it is but he has an Angel in the outfield that helps him out lol? -
