OK optimism..... The pitching has been my biggest bitch and it really seems to be working itself out. I love what Dubronts been doing. The bullpen actually seems good to me right now. If Ells comes back I really like a Nava, Sweeney, Ells outfield with Ross as a fourth when he comes back. I am frustrated with AGonz but do expect him to come back to form. We are finding ways to win without him hitting for power...... if he does heat it up, watch out. I am very pleased with Aviles. Good hustle player producing well. Coaching staff getting all they can from him. The biggest thing I see that gives me hope is that I am seeing the team enjoy themselves. I am seeing more laughter and smiles. I'm not seeing cold shoulders being turned to the manager. For a while it did not seem like this team was having fun playing baseball. I did not notice players celebrating each others successes. They seem to be rallying around each other more and more. I realize I only get a small peak into the team chemistry. And I admit this is all speculation so don't feel the need to prove me wrong, I just enjoy studying human behaviour and body language, and it seems to be much more positive. I think the benches being emptied in Tampa and the Salty walk off were very important. We shall see.
