    Awesome! BTW, the Yankees were just award catcher's interference on a ghost call that Jeter sold to the umpire, erasing a double play. And with the 2 free baserunners and 5 outs to work with, the Yankees flew out and quickly grounded into a double play.

    And the Yankees blow it! They were given 2 free baserunners and 5 outs to work with in that inning and they couldn't get a run across.

    What a huge blown call in the Yankees favor. That wasn't even close and it turns a strikeout throw em out into 2 on no one out.

    We should have Aceves come in after Wakefield's faced a batter. Then we'd get the 2 ERA reliever Aceves instead of the 5+ ERA starter Aceves.

    He should have gotten out of the inning without a run but Martin let a throw to the plate go right by him. On the flip side though, Colon was hit hard. BTW, Colon hasn't won a game after the All-Star break since 2005.

    I didn't base the thread on who I thought should win, I based the thread on who will likely win and the Cy Young Award voters are not going to give the award to a pitcher based on WAR. Besides, according to Baseball-Reference Beckett has a 4.9 WAR to Sabathia's 4.5
