    This is a great demonstration of why we shouldn't buy into small sample sizes. Miller got his walks down for all of about a month in the minors before being called up.

    Miller has actually gotten some bad luck this outing, but in general this year he's sucked.

    Don't get too excited about a small sample size in AAA. In two years, Montero will likely be in the majors which would put him ahead of where Lavarnway is at the same age.

    Who's to say Francona didn't go up to Crawford and talk to him and Crawford said he's comfortable batting where he is and wants to stay there? As much as we'd like to think we do, we really have no idea what's behind many of the decisions Tito makes.

    BTW, Baseball Prospectus has our chances of making the playoffs at 99.7% entering play tonight and our chances of winning the division at 75.3%.

    I doubt Scutaro had time to think, "we'd rather lose in 9 innings and we have no chance of scoring a run in the next few innings if I make this play"

    Scutaro made a diving play that saved a run and got us to extra innings in the first place. Let's not get too crazy here.
