How hard is it to throw 4 balls over the course of 7 pitches, at most? We sure make it look easy. Need a big bounce back tonight. Everybody goes through hitting with RISP funks over the course of the season so if we just keep giving ourselves opportunities to score, eventually we will. Meanwhile, Seattle's offense isn't anything to write home about, so stop helping them with 7 walks. Make them earn it. Need a big one from Martin tonight

It's great that we've been able to hit good pitching this season (at least some of the time), but can we start hitting mediocre pitching? Because that is what we will be getting for most of this series

I'm a TA for accounting and I have my office hours until 9. Thankfully there is nobody in our virtual room at the moment, so I have the radio broadcast pulled up in another tab and I'm chilling. MLB.com has a double box feature so I'm switching back and forth with the Yankees radio broadcast. Fun times

D-backs and Reds followed with their own entertaining game this afternoon. D-backs were up 4-1, then Cincy tied it with 2 HRs in the 6th. Arizona scored 4 more in the 7th to take an 8-4 lead, then gave up 3 in the bottom half of that inning, and another in the 8th. They went to extras tied at 8, but Arizona scored 6 runs in the 10th. Reds made it interesting with 3 in the bottom half, but it was a 14-11 win for the Diamondbacks. That game must have been an emotional roller coaster for fans of both teams

Wind chills where I live have been hovering around 30 all day so this will definitely be a cold one. Not the coldest temp at first pitch we've had this season, but it will feel like the coldest game for sure. Hopefully that quells the Seattle bats a little

The reason I'm personally averse to that is because Richards runs into problems the first time through the order. If he started strong and then ran out of gas, he would be a better bullpen option IMO
