    I have fallen back in love with baseball this season. I don't have a single problem with any of the rule changes. If the trend of fewer runs continues, I am ok with that. I love going to the ballpark and watching a pitcher dominate. I personally think that some of the more traditional baseball enthusiasts need to be a little more open minded and embracing of change.

    Lopez suffers from a severe case of home-run-philia, except for two starts ago against the Yankees, when the O's ended up winning 3-2. If we get to him early, we should provide enough support for Perez.

    This win guarantees that we will at least be tied with the A's when they come to town this week for a matchup of the top 2 teams in the league. We are 22-13, they are currently 21-14. They are just getting underway against Tampa, and are off tomorrow
